The NARS Facebook 360 Video Spring 2016 How-To video that they have posted to their Yotube channel (NARS Cosmetics) is really interesing and different to any other tutorials that I have ever seen and I think this is way of showing a make up tutorial is a big game changer in the 'make up tutorial world'. It was made with a 360 camera which means that you can click and turn the screen in any direction that you want. It is a step-by-step make up tutorial for the upcoming sping and it features the brand's products. There's a screen showing each step in a form of a GIF (the steps are numbered and titled) and the products used in each clip are shown right under it. The description that they put under the video is: " As you watch NARS Lead Makeup Stylist Janice Daoud create her spring look, turn your device or drag your finger to move around within the video and explore how to create the look any and every angle."
The look they created is very romantic and girly; a pink winged eye and a pink lip. They slicked back the model's hair so that it doesn't hide any parts of the face. This is the kind of look I am considering for my editorial.
