Catwalk Evening Looks | Inspiration, Face & Hair Charts

Here are the face and hair charts that I have created so far, as well as the images I used as inspiration.
A glossy, metalic look with glowing, radiant skin and braided hair is what I want to achieve and create for this look.

Hair Charts

1st & 2nd Look

Two quite similar looks, both include two dutch braids.

First look (left) consisnts of messy looking dutch braids and has glitter going down the roots.
Second look (right) has the braids twisted into little low buns and has no glitter.

1st & 2nd Hairstyle

3rd & 4th Look

Third look (left) is braided in two dutch braids close to the scalp, then ends with a normal braid.
Fourth look (right) has a big, wide, messy dutch braid.

3rd & 4th Hairstyle

5th Look

This look, again, has two dutch braids, but is asymmetric - side parting, one braid thicker than other. Also this braid has a 'wet look' to it created with gel and water. Glitter at the front (aprox. 3,4 inches) and going towards the crown area (aprox. 2 inches).

5th Hairstyle
5th Hairstyle

6th Look

Middle parting and low, loose ponytail at the nape of the neck. Two sections on each side braided.

6th Hairstyle

7th Look

High slick pony tail braided into three fishtail braids. Wet look.
Works best on thick, long hair.

7th Hairstyle

8th Look

Wet, slicked hair, pulled back (no parting) into a low ponytail. The ponytail plaited into three braids; two normal and a fishtail.

7th Hairstyle

9th Look

Fringe braided (similar to my advert idea), rest of the hair natural, wet.

9th Hairstyle

10th Look

Zig-zag hairline and two braids following the direction. Wet look.

10th Hairstyle

11th Look

Big messy dutch braid (could be french, too) ending in two normal plaits.

11th Hairstyle

12th Look

A dutch braid starting at the middle, leaving sides of the fringe at the front. Hair braided down to the nape of the neck, ending with a low ponytail.
Wet look - fringe sectioned into three sections and gelled.for the 'wet effect'.

12th Hairstyle

13th Look

Middle parting, going straight down to the nape of the neck. Hair braided into two dutch braids, then the ends tied into a knot. Will work best on long hair.

13th Hairstyle

I was playing around with metalics; gold and silver. The gold would be good because, as we are coming into spring and summer, it would add warmth to the skin, expecially combined with the bronzer. However, I am leaning more towards the silver. We haven't seen looks that require, blush, bronzer and highlight this season really, most did not even use any of these products and were after a clean, flawless base. As I want to create a dewy, glowy look I thing I will go with strobing and use higlighters to define my model's face. In some face charts I would wet my brush then apply the white pigment, it doesn't look that great in the face charts but the pigment looks very pretty on the skin and it reflects the light perfectly. However, I also have the strobing cream which has a gold, warm undertone so I need to test them out and see what would work best, might even mix both products.
I created some looks using the red lipstick, but I feel like the colour has been seen on the catwalk so many times and in so many different variations and finishes that I don't want to use it and repeat the looks. Shiny, glossy, glowy look is what I will be sticking with. I don't have a clear lip gloss but need to get it. I was thinking of using the Shine Lip Mix (MAC) on the eyelids, but I need to test it to see what it look like on.

Moving onto the hair, as you can see I really want to use the dutch braids. I just really like the 3D effect that they have and it really makes them stand out. Some looks have a wet look some don't, I have to test this, too. The same goes for glitter. No matter which hairstyle I choose, I will be using blue hair bands to link to the 'blue trend'.
