The story that I'm going for is tropical holiday inspired. The day look will be of a woman that has spent the day at the beach; sunkissed glowy skin, just got out of the sea/ sweaty because of the heat and the evening look is her going out for coctails to a beach bar, or to explore the island, and her make up look is inspired by the shells she found at the beach. All very relaxed.
I'd like to do one that is inspired by their Dual Intensity collection and I have picked up a product that would work great for the look. I need to come up with a concept and look around it, but the product that I got is an eyeshadow pot from the Awesome Metals Foil Finish (Makeup Revolution London). The eyeshadow comes with an eye primer and a mixing tray. You can use it without the primer and it creates a very opaque silver (foil) effect, or mix it with the primer (that's where the tray comes in handy) and get a bit more sheer effect as it waters down the shadow. The metalic eye look was popular at the SS16 fashion shows so I figured I can't go wrong really. I think it would be a fun product to use as a highlighter for really extreme looks, but I'm not sure that if would really be in the NARS style.
I have said in my inspiration video I am very inspired by the beautiful and iridecent shells so I will be adding some colour to the metalic look and really try to recreate it on the eyes. The skin will be looking very fresh and glowy and the brows will be messy, brushed upwards.

I will most likely use the eyeshadow for one of my catwalk looks too (they need to link together anyway). I was thinking of combining a warm and cool colours and looks for each category; e.g. day look for advert warm, night cool; editorial day cool, evening warm and catwalk warm for the day look and cool for the evening.
As far as the hairstyles, NARS tend to pull all the hair back, to emhasize the make up and make the viewer focus on that rather than the hair. Sleek pony tails were all over the SS16 catwalks so I will do that for my night look and then for the day look make the 'just got out of the pool', very beachy, wavy look and comb it backwards, away from the face, maybe with some bits falling down the face, slightly messy.

The only thing I need to be careful about is not to get my catwalk and editorial looks mixed up because they will be inspired by the similar ideas. However, the daytime look for catwalk will be more simple and 'natural' looking than the editorials.
