Spring / Summer Makeup Trends - Bold Graphic Liners

Eyeliner is eyeliner, we draw a line close to our lash line, maybe lower, too, add a flick and that's it... or is it? Seems like this season makeup designers went all out and created some amazing graphic statement looks, colours included.
Some lines were quite thick, and not 100% even (Atsuro Tayama, Jeremy Scott, Fendi), but there were also more subtle looks and flicks (Dolce & Gabbana, Sharon Wauchob,Anthony Vaccarello). At Monique Lhullier's show models had green eyeliner, pink at Cividini, blue at Ohne Titel and white (which was quite popular) at Barbara Casasola and Zero + Maria Cornejo.

Inspired by abstract art, makeup maestro and Shiseido Artistic Director Dick Page painted a "smudge" on the models' eyelids at the Zero + Maria Cornejo show in New York. Using jagged brush strokes he applied a white cream pigment to the peepers. We love this look against a strong brow (although we'd add mascara!).

The looks with white liners I really like as they really open up the eyes and make them look bigger and they go really well with glowing, highlighted skin.
