Initial Catwalk Ideas

For my day catwalk look I will create a very simple "no make up" look. Very dewy, glowy skin created with my Ultra Strobing Blam by Makeup Revolution London - the product will (literally) be the highlight of the look. Most catwalk look that NARS has created this season are very simple, with the emhasis on the skin making it look as natural as possible and fresh. I might add some mascara and clear gloss on the eyelids but may not - I need to do test shoots next week and go from there.

For my assessment I will create my evening catwalk look as I really want to use the hour and a half that we have and create a look that is still simple and following the SS16 trends, but more creative than just a no makeup look.
Messy, metalic or smokey glossy eye make up, thick brows and fresh looking skin are the trends that I want to combine in my design. I think the trend of messy, uneven eye make up was really interesting because everyone always tries to get the eye make up as even and neat as possible but these looks have proved how good it looks when you just sweep your brush accross the lids. 
 I am obsessed with the look that NARS had created for Marc Jacobs SS16 fashion show and was thinking of doing a very glossy lid with gray/ black or metalic colour in the crease. Quite messy and smudged but not too much, and only on the top lid and then maybe a line on the bottom lash line or not even that.

The catwalk was full of effortless braided hairstyles. They make a simple hairstyle look so much more put together, and like you've spent a lot more time than you actually have, whcih is why I have been wearing them a lot lately. I am torn between three looks; two dutch braids on each side of the head, single messy braid or a braid in a form of a braided crown. Messy parting, hair will be lightly curled and I will use sea salt spray to get a more beachy texture and look.

I was thinking of maybe adding some glitter along the roots where the parting is, maybe not even throughout the whole head, maybe just a few intches at the front, or at the back going down to the nape of the neck.
