Spring / Summer Makeup Trends - Natural VS. Thick Brows

This season brows should be left looking natural, at least that is what most make up artists did. A few of them, however, still stuck to the 'Cara' brows - big thick and bushy. Seems like now brows have different 'hairstyles' - a lot of them were brushed upwards (SUNO, Celine), ovedrawn (Christopher Kane) some were very unkept and messy while others were very sleek. There were even a few looks with bleached brows (Givenchy).  

The only brows that stuck out to me and were different and interesting were at the Cedric Charlier's show and Ashley Williams.
The make up at Cedric Charlier was very simple with a bit of bronzer and blush and the brows were fairly natural, yet abstract. They had diagonal lines going across the bottom hairline that mimic the brows. They were very sharp with a point towards the nose. The fashion collection was inspired by Victor Pasmore, british painter and architect so the makeup resembled the clothing. I couldn't find who the makeup artist was.

At Ashley Williams the brows were slightly different than any others we saw on the catwalk this season. Still in the 90's theme, however the brows were super thin, created in one single line and a very defined arch. The natural brows were blocked and the new line was drawn above the natural brows.

I think that when it comes to my daytime catwalk looks I will keep them very natual, and the evening makeup will have a thicker brow. Maybe a thicker brow would be good for my editorials too, but for my adverts I will definitely keep the brows natural but slightly shaped to fill in the gaps and add definition.
