1st Look
Of course I had to start with a look that contains the colour blue as it was one of the most popular trends. This look focuses mostly on the eyes which look stained and slightly messy; dewy skin, but no bronzer, highlight or blush, and moisturised lips.
Products used:
Foundation: depends on the shade that suits the model (Revlon/ L'loreal/ Kryolan)
Eyes: Blue + yellow (LaRoc palette)
Mascara: Black
Brows: Medium to Dark Ultra Brow palette (Makeup Revolution)
Lips: lip balm (Carmex)
1st look
2nd Look
This look looks very simple, but is one of my favourites so far. The skin is bronzed and glowy, lips and eyes very shiny and there is a hint of blue on the eyelids.
I did put on the face chart 'no mascara' but light layer of mascara on both top and bottom lashes would probably complete the look.

Highlight: Lumos (Illamasqua)
Bronzer: 5th shade in (LaRoc palette)
Eyes: Blue (LaRoc palette) + lip mix shine (MAC)

4th Look
A simple, but bold blue and green look. Layering is the key - created by applying blue all over the inner half of the eye, going from the inner end of the brow bone and blended into the eyelid. Depth created with green which is used to contour in the hollows of the eye inner eye, brow bone and nose. No mascara.

4th look
5th Look
After I've made the look above, I decided to expand it, and while the one above I would use for catwalk only, the one below could be used for editorial as well.
Glitter and mascara added, possibly falses, too. Also, the line above the lip is glitter.
Products used:
Highlight: Lumos (Illamasqua) with Shine (MAC Lip Mix)
Bronzer/ Blush/ Highlight: none
Contour: Green (LaRoc Palette) - nose and brow bone only
Eyes: Blue + Green (LaRoc palette) + Terquoise glitter (Primark glitter palette)

5th look
6th Look
Moving on to the classic red lip. I don't know why I put 'stained lip' in the face chart as I wanted a full matte look, but yes, red lip, smudged liner under the eyes and mascara on top lashes to open up the eyes. No brow products and light contour only.
Highlight: Lumos (Illamasqua)
Bronzer: Baked blush (LaRoc palette)
Eyes: lip mix shine (MAC) + individual lashes on bottom lashes - outer corners only
Brows: no product
Lips: Blue, Yellow, Black (MAC Lip Pigments)
6th look
7th Look
This look is a lot more put together, meaning there are more skin products as well as brow, eye and lip products. Would be good for editorial or even a lipstick advert. It is very bronzed and glowy with a bold red lip.
Products used:
Bronzer/ Blush: Baked bronzer/ blush (LaRoc palette)
Highlight: Lumos (Illamasqua) with Shine (MAC Lip Mix)

Brows: Medium to Dark Ultra Brow palette (Makeup Revolution)
Lips: LC009 (Kryolan) + Shine (MAC Lip Mix)
7th look
8th Look
This look is a more simple version of the look above - a day time version.
False lashes are still on the eyes, but there is no eyeshadow or brow product. Highlight is going down the centre of the face (forehead, inner eye, nose, cupids bow, chin) and the skin is bronzed. Nude lips.

I am still gathering all of my research together and coming up with different ideas.
Fow now I know that I want to do one of my adverts for one of NARS' Audacious lipsticks (deep red) and the other will probably be for a blush, or even their multiple stick.
Editorial will probably consist of a 'wet' and dewy look, false lashes and possibly glitter for the evening look.
And finally, I know that for my catwalk 'day look', or ready-to-wear and evening look could be haute couture - that's how I look at it, I will create a very neutral simple look. But then the second look will consist of a bold colour - blue, red or even something like a gold or silver.
I am both confused and overwhelmed with the amount of looks we have to create. Actually not even the amount as much as focusing on each category individually. Therefore, I am still in the process of researching and looking for inspiration.
Next week (Wednesday) we have to present our ideas so by then I will, hopefully, come up with the 'story' for my editorial and kind of know in what direction I'm going with each look.
